Hardware composition
The chassis holds a system processing unit (SPU) and disk expansion units (DEUs). The SPU can be configured with either a single controller or dual controllers, identified as Controller A and Controller B.
Disk configuration (Tier 0-3)
Standard configurations offer hybrid-flash and all-flash disk packs for storage tiers 0-3. Hybrid setups can be single or dual controllers with HDDs and SSDs, while all-flash setups always include dual controllers utilizing high-performance SSDs, including NVMe. Capacities ranging from 10+ TiB to 350+ TiB, scalable up to petabytes when needed.
Long hardware lifecycle
Extended hardware lifecycle is achieved through versatile disk pack configurations, allowing seamless scalability in performance and capacity. The adaptability of the hardware accommodates the changing in demands, workloads, and operational requirements without causing disruptions.
