Italian data storage company Storvix moves its headquarters to Swedish tech capital Lund. Through its new strategic position, the company strengthens its European profile and sees new partnerships and business opportunities.

Storvix, with its flagship product Storvix OS, specializes in the high-tech fields of computer storage and enterprise storage management and solves the problem to manage the exponential growth of information using less time. To take the next step the company has now made the move from Italy and established its new headquarters in Swedish tech capital Lund.

– Storvix is a pure European based company, with a European tradition and profile. When we design we mix Italian guidelines and the best quality with Scandinavian design, says CTO Luca Minoja.

Lund, a city of strong research-based global industries and a leading hub and startup ecosystem for high-tech innovation and development, provides the right soil for the growing company.

– Strategically this is the perfect location for Storvix. In Lund we are not only well anchored in a European city, it is also considered the most growing place for IT and the fourth most inventive region in the world. Therefore it has a huge potential and offers great possibilities for us to present our vision and products, Minoja continues.

The move has proved successful. In the new premises, Storvix has already closed two important deals: an established technology partnership with Western Digital Corporation subsidiary HGST.
